GENERAL

When and where is the 2026 Summer Conference & YPS Retreat? 
The Summer Conference & YPS Retreat will take place starting Saturday, August 29th and go through Sunday, August 30th at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country in San Antonio, TX. 

  

  

Does TSP offer single day registration for the conference?
At this time, TSP does NOT offer single day registration. You can only register for the full conference. 

  

  

What will be provided at the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat? 
The following will be available at the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat:
  • Basic Wireless Internet
  • Self-Parking (for a daily fee)
  • A copy of the agenda, and information about the conference

  

  

Will presentations be available on-site? 
Yes, speaker permissioned presentations will be available on-site. 

  

  

What is the suggested dress code for attending the conference? 
Smart casual/business casual. We want you to be comfortable for learning and networking. Conference rooms tend to be cold, so we strongly suggest you have a sweater on hand. 

  

  


 

REGISTRATION

When is the deadline to claim CME for the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat? 
The deadline to complete your Speaker Evaluation and claim your CME credits will be Monday, September 7, 2026. 

  

  

What is the cancellation policy?
TSP must receive notice of cancellation for refund postmarked no later than August 23, 2026. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid to cover processing charges. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of cancellation. You can contact us here to cancel your registration. 

  

  

Is there an option to attend the conference virtually?
At this time, TSP does not offer a virtual option for the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat

  

  

I haven't received my confirmation email or any emails from TSP - what do I do?
Please log-in to you TSP Profile and confirm your profile and account are up to date. Once you have completed this step, please contact the TSP office and we will resend your confirmation email. 

  


 

PROGRAMMING

How do I obtain my CMEs for the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat?
You will receive an email on Monday, August 31st with your speaker evaluation. Complete this speaker evaluation to obtain your CME's.

Yes! We'd love for you to attend the 2026 Summer Conference & YPS Retreat! As a Medical Student you can access your conference registration discount by email Kennedy Camero, TSP Admin, at [email protected] 

  

  

How do I become a YPS Member?
You will automatically become a YPS Member when you sign up for TSP Member under Junior Membership or if you meet the following criteria:
  • Have been in practice for ten (10) years or less
  • Forty-five (45) years of age or younger 

   

  


ABSTRACT MINI-SERIES COMPETITION

I'm a medical student, can I submit an abstract? 
Medical Students are welcome to submit an abstract for the mini-series competition but are not eligible to win a certificate. 

  

  

I haven't been notified that my abstract has been selected or not selected for platform presentations
You will be notified if you application has ben selected for Platform Presentations no later than July 18th. Those selected for Poster Presentations will be notified no later than July 20th. If you do not hear from the TSP office by July 21st, please contact the TSP office so we can send you the proper instructions. 

  

  

What are the poster requirements for the poster sessions?
The TSP office will print all approved posters and will have them displayed at the Summer Conference & YPS Retreat. Do not print/bring your own poster. Poster requirements will be sent via email to presenters no later than July 20th. If you do not receive instructions by July 21st, please contact the TSP office for assistance.
