Welcome to TSP

The Texas Society of Pathologists is the statewide membership organization specifically targeted to pathologists practicing in Texas. Founded in 1921, TSP is the oldest state pathology organization in the United States, and currently has more than 790 members statewide.

Through its mission of "Focusing on Excellence in Medicine," the Society provides continuing medical education, publications, a resource center, advocacy, job placement listings, and many other member services for pathologists and those interested in the field of pathology.

Senate Bill 1832 Signed Into Law

Senate Bill 1832 was signed into law by the Governor on May 18, 2007. The bill passed through the Texas Legislature with a near unanimous approval (28 to 1 vote in the Senate and 140 to 0 vote in the House). We appreciate the hard work of many people to make this happen, including Representative Dan Gattis from Austin and Senator Robert Duncan from Lubbock.
