2017 UCNS Exam

The last UCNS Exam where the Practice Track will be accepted as an eligibility requirement will take place January - February 2017. After 2017, only graudates of UCNS Neuroimaging fellowships or physicians applying under the Faculty Diplomate pathway may apply to sit for Neuroimaging examinations.

A strong turnout for this examination is important to demonstrate the strength of the UCNS Neuroimaging subspecialty.

Registration is now open through August 15, 2016.

If you are not yet certified in Neuroimaging by the UCNS, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Exam Dates: January 30, 2017 - February 3, 2017

Recertification: UCNS gives examinations every other year.  Therefore, those physicians who were certified in 2008 must sit for recertification examination in 2017 in order to avoid a lapse in their certifications.  More information about the initial and recertification examinations can be found on our website at http://www.ucns.org/go/subspecialty/neuroimaging/certification.

The application period for the 2017 Neuroimaging certification and recertification examinations opened May 1, 2016.  The deadline for submitting applications is August 15, 2016.

Questions regarding eligibility for the examination or how to prepare for the exam can be directed to Todd Bulson at tbulson@ucns.org or Becky Swanson at bswanson@ucns.org.

The ASN is committed to supporting excellence in Neuroimaging and we will be more than happy to facilitate physicians proving their qualifications by this prestigious certification.

Sincerely,
